Good Ol' Boy: more experiments in traditional and digital mediums.

Acrylic / Photoshop

I am trying to push that style I started doing a few posts back.  Any ideas how I could translate this into a viable solution for an animation coloring technique? I'd like to try something out that looks like this but moves.

  3. I'm not an animator, but my only idea would be to have the fragmented shapes running as a filter on a layer in front of the rest of the animation using blending modes (again, I'm a graphic designer, not an animator, so I'm not sure if your software is similar to photoshop in that way), and possibly animate the fragments to coincide with whatever is happening in the rest of the scene. I really like the style you have going on though—very interesting.
